Fife Lake Township will be taking sealed bids to remove small trees

Fife Lake Township will be taking sealed bids to remove small trees and brush from behind the Fife Lake Township Hall. Stumps will need to be removed and erosion control implemented. A walk through for interested bidders will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Sealed bids will begin to be accepted on Friday, September 8, 2023. All bids must include a copy of the bidder’s $1 million liability insurance. Bids without a copy of their liability insurance will not be considered.

Bids need to be addressed to Fife Lake Township, attn: Clerk Gifford, P.O. Box 87, Fife Lake, MI 49633 or dropped off in the townships overnight drop off box by 4:00 p.m., September 27, 2023 The bids will be opened at the September 28, 2023 Board Meeting.

Still Accepting Bids – Emergency Services Barn Roof

Fife Lake Township is Still Accepting Bids! Updated 05/07/2023

Fife Lake Township is Still accepting bids to re-roof our Emergency Services Barn located at 134 Morgan St., Fife Lake, MI 49633.   

Bids should Include: 

* Installation of three to four dormers with 4/12 pitch over emergency services doors
* Full tear off of existing 1 layer metal roof Including removal all existing exposed fastener roofing
* Complete disposal, and replacement of any rotten decking areas needing to be replaced.
* Application of synthetic vapor barrier followed by Installation of 26 gauge exposed metal  roofing panels. (color tba)
* Bid includes all metal trims, flashing, pipes flashed/painted to match roof.
* All areas to be cleaned upon each day’s completion.  Magnet swept for nails and metal shavings daily.
* Warranty and workmanship warranty.
* Project bid includes materials & labor/dump fee, etc.
* Needed Permits
* Consultation on best practices for project
* Must be licensed and insured for 1 million In liability

Bid Opportunity Fire Barn Drain

Bid Opportunity:

FLT is accepting bids on the installation of a 28’ trench floor drain with a 3” x 120’ pvc pipe out to our sand tank. Due to a drainage issue in our fire barn the drain will replace the existing 5” diameter round drains and the defunct pipe that led to the sand tank.
